Size
Places for approximately 90 boarders from Year 9 to 13 whose place of residence is outside Christchurch. Short-term boarding of day girls is occasionally possible.

Management
The Board of Trustees of Christchurch Girls' High School administers the hostel. The Principal is responsible for its supervision. A Hostel Manager is appointed for day-to-day management of the hostel.
